Their network of restaurants consistently showed excess elimination of perfectly edible inventory items do to overstock or lack of demand. Their modern marketplace built on Shuup multivendor software allows these restaurants to sell surplus meals to consumers at greatly reduced prices.
MyStr33t chose Anders to create their marketplace based on business model, designs, and existing restaurant network. We studied the business models, UI, and UX of top restaurant food delivery services to apply these to this sustainability innovation. Shuup’s responsive front-end lets customers order meals based on distance or location on a map, or by food preference filters.
Shuup ecommerce provides each vendor restaurant their own connected administrative dashboard to manage products, customers, and orders. The Python back-end is customized with inventory management tools for complex, time-sensitive items with expiration dates. MyStr33t administrators control vendor approval, permissions, and all operations from their own master admin portal. The system is integrated with 3rd party software such as WorldPay for payments.
